Hope for Hounds falls under the umbrella of the GSNCR, and is based on an idea of Janet Shaffer (Casual Bling). It was established to raise awareness of cancer in Greyhounds and to raise money to support the work of Dr. Guillermo Couto of the Ohio State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, to be used in his Greyhound Health and Welfare Program, which includes research on cancer. All proceeds of the sales of these Awareness Collar Bling for Hope will go to Dr. C. Guillermo Couto of the Ohio State University to be used in their Greyhound Health and Welfare Program. If you have lost a greyhound to cancer, or have a greyhound that is battling cancer, please refer to our article "Cancer in Greyhounds - A Study" . Please help Dr. Couto with this study and help us to fight cancer in these wonderful retired athletes.
